How does this festival work?

Springtide Music Festival is a collection of live music shows happening in small downtown venues – restaurants, bars, shops and a brewery beer garden. Come downtown, get your wristband on and explore the festival map. Then, find a show you’d like to see and head in to that venue. Enjoy and repeat as often as you like, all festival long!

What does the wristband get you?

Buying a Springtide Music Festival wristband grants you entry to any of our venues all over downtown Uxbridge, provided that venue is not full. On Thursday, July 21 is a stand-alone event at Uxbridge Music Hall with reserved seating. Admission to venues on Friday and Saturday is on a first come, first served basis. The Friday wristband grants you free entry into all shows on Friday, and the Saturday wristband gets you into shows on Saturday.

How do I get a wristband?

If you have purchased tickets ahead of time, you can exchange your tickets for wristbands at the Springtide Music Festival Hub, as of 10 am on Friday, July 22nd, located at 88 Brock Street West during festival hours only. Thursday’s launch party with headliner Bedouin Soundclash is a stand-alone event at Uxbridge Music Hall.

What happens if I can’t get into a venue?

Once a venue fills up, it can’t legally bring in more festival goers until patrons move to another venue. You may choose to wait till someone moves on, or maybe you’ll discover great music at one of the other venues! In addition to our wristband-only venues, we will have ungated venues as well as acoustic pop-up sets in several downtown locations. There’s plenty of live music to go around, plus a downtown full of unique shops and restaurants to explore!

How far apart are the venues?

This is the best part of Springtide! From one end of the festival map to the other, it’s only a short 1.4 km stroll along our main, historic downtown street. In 2022 we the festival is excited to introduce our very own trolley service that will provide free transportation during peak festival hours.

When does my favourite band play?

A festival schedule will be posted here on our website closer to the festival, and shared on social media. Printed copies of the full schedule with a venue map will be available at the Festival Ticket Hub, the Uxbridge Tourism Trailer, and all downtown venues.

What is the Youth Stage?

The Youth Stage provides a platform for talented songwriters and artists ages 18 and under, to inspire audiences of all ages. We have an amazing lineup of young musicians from the Uxbridge area, Durham Region, and the wider GTA. You can gain entry to this venue with a festival wristband, or pay a reduced rate at the door. Only the Youth Stage has a reduced rate at the door! All other gated venues require a wristband.

What is the Interview Stage?

The Interview Stage is an interactive and intimate series of conversations and collaborations with a curated selection of musicians performing at the festival.  This is a wristband-only event.

Can I bring my dog?

While some venues are dog-friendly on an ordinary day, we strongly recommend you leave pooch at home when attending the festival. The majority of festival shows happen inside venues where dogs can’t enter.

Can I bring my kids?

Kids are welcome in all festival venues including licensed restaurants and The Second Wedge Brewing Co., with the exception of the licensed lower level of Wixan’s Bridge. Kids 12 and under can attend festival shows free of charge, and must be accompanied by adults.

Where can I park?
