Jack The Lads

Toronto’s Troubadours. The Last Rock & Roll Testament. Whatever you call them, Jack The Lads aren’t your run-of-the-mill Toronto indie outfit. Their clean-cut look with garage-soul sound is guaranteed to get you out of your seat.

The stylish trio have a lot going for them – the catchy melodies, the looks, the vocals

Having played the old haunts of Toronto, including The Silver Dollar, Velvet Underground, The Opera House, The Phoenix, and The Drake Underground, Jack the Lads sing about their city, love & hate, and the days of yore.

Their adrenaline-filled sets, reminiscent of The Jam and The Clash, get the whole crowd moving instantly. Formed in 2012, the Lads have since participated in Canadian Music Week, Toronto’s Indie Week, NXNE, and have played alongside Toronto artists Zeus, Jason Collett, and Torquil Campbell of Broken Social Scene.

[Jack the Lads’] repertoire ranges from pop to rock to soul with a taste of everything else in between, paying homage to the sounds of the British Invasion with their own particular twist. – Pat Blythe – Bob Segarini Blog
