It seems like there must be a whole symphony of Suitcase Sams. There’s the wee-hours, suit-wearing, parlour singer of his early, Get It To Go days. Then there’s the road-hardened troubadour with Tattered Shoes, living out of someone’s borrowed suitcase and trying, without much success, to catch some sleep on a Friday Afternoon. He can be rowdy and rambunctious, or reflective and somber. Regardless, Sam is a constant eccentric who is never tardy and certainly earlier than these times would knowingly permit. He is the something else you are searching for. That’s it. That’s enough.
