FAQs

Springtide Music Festival is a collection of live music shows over 3 days each June in downtown Uxbridge venues including restaurants, bars, shops, a craft brewery, and historic buildings. With a festival wristband you can explore the festival route freely, make new discoveries and enjoy incredible live music across multiple stages all festival long!

You can now book tickets from a selection of single venue curated shows including our Festival Launch Party on Thursday, Saturday Matinée at St. Andrews–Chalmers Church, evening programming at the Festival mainstage on, and after parties at Wixan’s Bridge on Friday & Saturday nights on the lower level, which are restricted to ages 19+. This is a more affordable way to attend the festival, however please note that access is limited to the ticketed venue during scheduled times. If you plan on seeing 4 or more artists, the single day pass or Weekend Wristband is more cost effective.

Buying a Festival wristband grants you entry to any of our venues all over downtown Uxbridge. A single day pass or Weekend Wristband is the best way to take advantage of the weekend’s festival programming with full access to stages from Friday to Saturday (subject to capacity).

We recommend purchasing Weekend Wristbands early as they are in limited supply.

Check out the festival schedule online to help you find your favourite band and plan your weekend. Printed copies of the full schedule with a venue map will be available at the Festival Ticket Hub, the Uxbridge Tourism Trailer, and all downtown venues.

If you have purchased tickets ahead of time, you can exchange your Friday, Saturday, or Weekend passes for wristbands at the Springtide Music Festival Hub, located at 88 Brock Street West at H. Bee Architecture, during festival hours.

For single event concerts and shows, ticket holders can go directly to the venue to access the event.

If you are interested in only seeing one artist, single venue curated shows may be the right choice for you. This option grants access to certain venues and times throughout the festival weekend. You will be able to see 3-4 artists at a single venue during the scheduled times. Note that there is limited availability in this ticket category.

All tickets can be purchased using our online store, or you at The Hub (located at 88 Brock St. W) during festival hours. If you are purchasing a single venue ticket, they can be purchased directly at the gate of the respective venue based on availability. Single venue shows include access to the Mainstage on Saturday (doors at 5pm), St. Andrew’s–Chalmers Church, or Wixan’s Bridge Basement (19+). See the festival map for venue locations.

Debit and Credit are the only methods of payment accepted this year for the purchase of festival tickets and festival merchandise. Cash may be accepted for artist merchandise and for individual venues with various methods of payment.

This is the best part of Springtide! You can explore a variety of stages from one end of the festival map to the other, across a 750 m strip along our main, historic downtown street. Our festival trolley will maintain a continuous loop around the downtown core, making venues accessible for folks to catch all the music they want in a timely fashion for all who want to ‘hop on’ and ‘hop off’. This unique shuttle experience is the perfect way to get you around town so you can catch all your favourite acts! Stay tuned for schedule details closer to the festival and watch for Town Trolley signs along the festival route.

You may choose to wait until someone moves on, or perhaps you’ll discover great music at one of our many venues and stages. In addition to our gated venues, the festival will host a number of free unplugged and amplified performances at several downtown locations. There’s plenty of live music to go around plus a downtown full of unique shops and restaurants to explore!

If you have purchased a single event ticket to one of our curated shows, space has been reserved for your access.

The Youth Stage provides a platform for talented songwriters and artists, ages 18 and under, to inspire audiences of all ages. We have an amazing lineup of young musicians from the Uxbridge area, Durham Region, and the wider GTA. Entry to the Youth Stage is free of charge so you can enjoy the talented youth artists without a festival wristband!

Workshop Stages are an interactive and intimate series of conversations and collaborations in-the-round style with a curated selection of musicians performing at the festival. This year the festival will host several workshops that are only accessible with your festival wristband, as well as workshops our free stages.

The gated outdoor main stage area allows for you to bring in your own chairs, blankets, and umbrellas. There will be some tables and chairs provided, but there is no guarantee of availability for everyone.

Due to the venue’s liquor license, patrons may only bring empty water bottles for refill using the water provided on site. No smoking or vaping is allowed onsite.

This year, all events are unreserved standing and/or seating, however some restaurants may take reservation independently. Please arrive early for the best seats, especially if you are attending as a large group. Also check out the schedule for free programming at select locations to enhance your Springtide Music Festival experience!

Please see http://discoveruxbridge.ca/plan/parking/ for a map of parking lots on and near Brock Street. The lot at 168 Brock St. W. has free overflow parking available.

More information about Uxbridge can be found on the Discover Uxbridge Website, or take a moment to stop by the Uxbridge Tourism Trailer on outdoor mainstage grounds to say hello during festival hours!

Kids are welcome in all festival venues including licensed restaurants and The Second Wedge Brewing Co., with the exception of the licensed lower level of Wixan’s Bridge (19+). Kids 12 and under can attend most festival shows free of charge, but must be accompanied by an adult. Free access to children 12 and under is restricted for certain venues, such as Wixan’s Bridge (19+) and the Launch Party on Thursday night.

While some outdoor venues are dog-friendly on an ordinary day, we strongly recommend you leave your pooch at home when attending the festival. The majority of festival shows happen inside venues where dogs can’t enter.
