FAQs
Springtide Music Festival is a collection of live music shows happening in downtown venues – restaurants, bars, shops, brewery beer garden, and our historic Uxbridge Music Hall. Come downtown, get your wristband and explore the festival map. Then, find a show you’d like to see and head in to that venue. Enjoy and repeat as often as you like, all festival long!
Buying a Springtide Music Festival wristband grants you entry to any of our venues all over downtown Uxbridge, provided that venue is not full. Thursday is a stand alone event at Uxbridge Music Hall with reserved seating, and admission to venues on Friday, or Saturday is on a first come, first served basis.
If you have purchased tickets ahead of time, you can exchange your Friday, Saturday and Weekend passes for wristbands at the Springtide Music Festival Hub, located at 88 Brock St. W, at H. Bee Architecture, during festival hours. For Thursday’s stand alone show ticket holders can go directly to the box office at Uxbridge Music Hall. Doors at 6:30pm.
Once a venue fills up, it can’t legally bring in more festival goers until patrons move to another venue. You may choose to wait till someone moves on, or maybe you’ll discover great music at one of the other venues! In addition to our wristband-only venues, the festival will host a number of free performances in music venues and acoustic pop-up sets at several downtown locations. There’s plenty of live music to go around, plus a downtown full of unique shops and restaurants to explore!
This is the best part of Springtide! You can explore a variety of stages from one end of the festival map to the other, across a 750 m strip along our main, historic downtown street. On Friday evening and Saturday evening from 5pm to Midnight our festival trolley will maintain a continuous loop around the downtown core, to make venues accessible for folks to catch all the music they want in a timely fashion for all who want to ‘hop on’ and ‘hop off’. This unique shuttle experience is the perfect way to get you around town so you can catch all your favorite acts!
Watch for Trolley signs along the festival route, and select site across Uxbridge including Uxbridge Arena, Uxbridge Secondary School, Herrema Park (Barton Farms), Elgin Park Kawartha Dairy, and Walmart.
Check out the festival schedule to help you find your favourite band, and plan your weekend. Printed copies of the full schedule with a venue map will be available at the Festival Ticket Hub, the Uxbridge Tourism Trailer, and all downtown venues.
The Youth Stage provides a platform for talented songwriters and artists ages 18 and under, to inspire audiences of all ages. We have an amazing lineup of young musicians from the Uxbridge area, Durham Region, and the wider GTA. You can gain entry to this venue with a festival wristband, or pay a reduced rate at the door for his stand alone event. Only the Youth Stage has a reduced rate at the door! All other gated venues require a wristband.
Workshop Stages are an interactive and intimate series of conversations and collaborations with a curated selection of musicians performing at the festival.
While some venues are dog-friendly on an ordinary day, we strongly recommend you leave pooch at home when attending the festival. The majority of festival shows happen inside venues where dogs can’t enter.
Kids are welcome in all festival venues including licensed restaurants and The Second Wedge Brewing Co., with the exception of the licensed lower level of Wixan’s Bridge (19+). Kids 12 and under can attend festival shows free of charge, and must be accompanied by adults.

More information about Uxbridge can be found on the Discover Uxbridge Website, or take a moment to stop by the Uxbridge Tourism Trailer on outdoor mainstage grounds to say hello during festival hours!
