You will be assigned a shift with specific responsibilities that will be laid out during orientation/training. You will also have a Team Lead on the day(s) of your shift(s) that will assign specific tasks related to your role and will answer questions you may have.

After you receive the preliminary volunteer schedule, there will be an orientation/training session that will outline the responsibilities of each role. During your scheduled shift, you will receive specific instructions from your Team Lead.

Generally, the minimum requirement is 6-8 hours, but if you are eligible for a leadership role, the minimum required hours during festival weekend are 12. Leadership roles also require attending weekly meetings before the festival to assist with pre-festival duties.

Yes. There is at least one mandatory training session for all volunteers to attend. We also invite you to attend an initial Meet & Greet orientation session for volunteers to meet one another, and for the team to share a brief history on the festival as well as current plans.

You will go to the Festival Hub to sign in for every shift. You will also receive a volunteer shirt that you are required to wear for every shift. Once check-in is complete, you will be directed to your assigned station or your Team Lead for further instructions.

Please inform the Project Coordinator as soon as you know you are unable to work so we can make sure to fill that position.
