Casper Skulls

Casper Skulls, the Sudbury/Toronto indie rock band, has undergone significant transformations to reach their most confident sound yet. The trio of Neil Bednis, Melanie St-Pierre-Bednis, and Fraser McClean has proven that sometimes, less is more, as they devolved into a three-piece and produced their best work to date.

Taking a much-needed break to welcome their first child, Bednis and St-Pierre-Bednis have returned with renewed energy and focus. Despite the changes, one thing remains constant—the band’s strength lies in their unmistakable collaboration, which shines through in their latest single “Spindletop.” Released on November 13th, 2024, on Next Door Records, “Spindletop” offers a glimpse of the band’s upcoming material. In this track, the band members trade instruments, pushing their collaboration even further, resulting in a unique and captivating sound.

Casper Skulls have an impressive touring history, sharing stages with renowned acts such as PUP, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Land of Talk and Kathleen Hannah. Their live shows are a force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences and turning heads with their commanding stage presence.
