Derek Virgo is an acoustic alternative folk musician with a passionate storytelling angle. Many of his songs are shaped by his own wild story that starts out with a tragic, traumatic event- and has somehow landed him on stage with a guitar and a piano less than three years later. His stripped-down acoustic style is often accompanied by raw vocals that draw on sorrow, healing and hope. He is currently working on a second full-length project to back up his debut record “Left in the Dark”.
