Larra Skye

Larra Skye sings with a sweet, lyrical voice tinged with pop and folk that CBC Radio-Canada “full of character and nuance.. irresistible.” Her sophomore album of original music, Wishing Tree, was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton). Her debut album, The World Disappears, was the #1 best selling independent jazz album for HMV in 2006. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, she learned to play guitar from the books in her parents’ bookstore in Newmarket, Ontario. Her music has drawn comparisons to Feist, Aimee Mann and Sarah Harmer. Larra has performed at clubs and festivals in Canada and the U.S.
