Else Langhans

In an unending pursuit of clarity, Else Langhans embraces earnestness and curiosity in her writing. Drawing influence from artists such as Feist, Joni Mitchell and Madison Cunningham, Langhans’s music finds itself exploring the spaces between Laurel Canyon-esque folk, jazz and alternative rock.

Born and raised in Uxbridge, Langhans first established her musical presence online and in local spaces, regularly performing at restaurants and school events. In 2022, she moved to Toronto to study vocal jazz performance at the University of Toronto, and has since performed in various venues across the GTA, including The Emmet Ray, The Rex, and the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.
